Virgin birth, healing, raising dead
Isa (peace be upon him) is one of the greatest prophets in Islam. He was born miraculously to Maryam (Mary) without a father, by Allah's command "Be!" and it was.
When people accused Maryam after she gave birth, the infant Isa spoke from the cradle, declaring: "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet."
Isa was given many miracles: he healed the blind and lepers, brought the dead back to life by Allah's permission, and made birds from clay that became real when he breathed into them. He was given the Injil (Gospel) and confirmed the Torah.
He called Bani Israel back to pure monotheism but faced rejection from most of them. When they plotted to kill him, Allah raised him to heaven. A person was made to resemble him and was crucified in his place. The Quran clearly states: "They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it was made to appear so to them."
Isa is alive in heaven and will return before the Day of Judgment to defeat the false messiah (Dajjal), break the cross, and establish justice. He will live, die, and be buried next to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
