The Narrative
"The Prophet ﷺ was more modest than a virgin in her private chamber," Abu Said al-Khudri reported. The Prophet would lower his gaze when passing by women. He taught: "Do not follow one glance with another."
In speech, the Prophet was extremely modest. Aisha said: "The Prophet never spoke indecently and never used foul language."
The Prophet taught that modesty is from faith, saying: "Modesty brings nothing but good."
