The Narrative
The Prophet ﷺ never said "no" to anyone who asked him if he had it to give. Anas ibn Malik reported: "The Prophet was never asked for anything in Islam except that he gave it."
A man came and looked at a large flock the Prophet owned. The Prophet asked if he liked them. The Prophet said: "They are yours." The man returned to his people and said: "Embrace Islam! Muhammad gives like one who has no fear of poverty."
The Prophet was most generous during Ramadan. Ibn Abbas reported: "The Prophet was the most generous of people, and he was even more generous during Ramadan."
